Operating since June, the pool has a diving height of a 12storey building, or nine double decker

The sex slave trade is centuries old, but its modern incarnation in India began under the British. When British soldiers and clerks began showing high rates of syphilis, 19th-century colonial administrators passed the Cantonment Act and Contagious Diseases Act, and created regulated areas for commercialized sex for British soldiers. Indian women were brought to the area and regularly submitted to health check-ups. These women were not allowed to marry or have any other profession. Abolitionists of the time recognized this treatment for what it was: another form of slavery.</div>

Today, <a href="https://asiafoundation.org/resources/pdfs/StanfordHumanTraffickingIndiaFinalReport.pdf">90% of human trafficking in India happens domestically</a>, not across borders. In many cases, traffickers lure children or young adults from rural villages to the city with the promise of well-paid work. Then, victims are transferred to people who, in a real sense, become their slave masters. Some victims work without pay as household maids. Others enter forced marriages with strangers they have never met. Some are forced into bonded labor in the mining or agricultural sectors. Others are sold into brothels.</div>

Vulnerability governs the lives of the individuals working within the industry. Their bodies and futures are not their own; most have been deceived, beaten, sometimes tortured, raped, and threatened with further beatings, mutilation, and death if they try to leave. If a prostitute becomes pregnant, her child will grow up with the same life. It is not wrong to say that such a child is trafficked into his or her own home.</div>

Not all of the women bound to India’s human trafficking industry are from India, though. According to the United Nations, traffickers bring roughly 15,000 people from Nepal into India every year to be sold into forced labor or prostitution, even smuggling 28 victims of the recent Nepali earthquake into the country (<a href="http://www.ndtv.com/india-news/air-india-staff-arrested-for-trafficking-nepal-earthquake-victims-report-1202119">media reports</a> that two of these traffickers have recently been arrested). Other source countries include Bangladesh, Thailand, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine. At the same time, India has become a supplier of trafficked human beings to countries in the Middle East and elsewhere.</div>

The colossal industry continues thanks to its high demand and thus financially lucrative returns. According to Siddharth Kara, the Director of the Program on Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery at the Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, a sex slave in Mumbai, India, brings traffickers a profit of around $13,000 a year and costs the trafficker almost nothing to maintain.</div>

Before what is very much a problem of supply and demand, the most interesting work being done by non-profit groups in the region is that which frames the issue in economic terms.</div>

One such non-profit is Apne Aap, which works in Kolkata. As Apne Aap founder Ruchira Gupta has said, “We believe that prostitution, which is the outcome of sex trafficking, is both a supply and a demand problem. On the supply side are women and girls who have no choices. But on the demand side are the pimps and the customers who have plenty of choices.” Apne Aap and other similar organizations work to intensify the legal consequences for victimizers, not victims, and to reduce demand for underage prostitution through education campaigns targeted at men.</div>

They have a long way to go, though. Human trafficking is the world’s third-most profitable illegal industry, behind only the drugs and weapons trade. An enormous proportion of the worldwide trade in persons occurs in India, soon to be the world’s most populous country. If India is to take its place as a true global power and claim the moral distinction of being the world’s largest democracy, abolishing the modern slave trade within its borders must become one of its highest priorities.</div>

Ophiocordyceps unilateralis is an entomopathogen, or insect-pathogenising fungus, discovered by the British naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace in 1859, and currently found predominantly in tropical forest ecosystems. O. unilateralis, also referred to as a zombie fungus, infects ants of the Camponotini tribe, with the full pathogenesis being characterized by alteration of the behavioral patterns of the infected ant. Infected hosts leave their canopy nests and foraging trails for the forest floor, an area with a temperature and humidity suitable for fungal growth; they then use their mandibles to affix themselves to a major vein on the underside of a leaf, where the host remains until its eventual death. The process leading to mortality takes 4–10 days, and includes a reproductive stage where fruiting bodies grow from the ant's head, rupturing to release the fungus's spores. O. unilateralis is in turn also susceptible to fungal infection itself, an occurrence which can limit its impact on ant populations, which has otherwise been known to devastate ant colonies.</div>

O. unilateralis and related species are known to engage in an active secondary metabolism, among other reasons, for the production of substances active as antibacterial agents that protect the fungus-host ecosystem against further pathogenesis during fungal reproduction. Because of this secondary metabolism, an interest in the species has been taken by natural products chemists, with corresponding discovery of small molecule agents (e.g. of the polyketide family) of potential interest for use as human immunomodulatory, antiinfective, and anticancer agents.</div>

On 1st September 2004, 32 armed and masked terrorists stormed School Number 1 in Beslan, North Ossetia-Alania (Russia). The terrifying ordeal lasted 3 days for 1200 adults and children. They were packed in to the school gymnasium where the terrorists had bombs and guns. 331 people died including 186 children. More than 700 were injured.</span></div>

Your children take for granted that they are rightful heirs to your wealth; but that you have no claims to their money.

50-year old like you, don't trade in your health for wealth by working yourself to an early grave anymore... Because your money may not be able to buy your health...

When to stop making money, and how much is enough ( hundred thousands, million, ten million )?

Out of thousand hectares of good farm land, you can consume only three quarts (of rice) daily; out of a thousand mansions, you only need eight square meters of space to rest at night.

So, as long as you have enough food and enough money to spend, that is good enough. You should live happily. Every family has its own problems.   Just do not compare with others for fame and social status and see whose children are doing better, etc., but challenge others for happiness, health, enjoyment, quality of life and longevity...

Don't worry about things that you can't change because it doesn't help and it may spoil your health.

You have to create your own well-being and find your own place of happiness. As long as you are in good mood and good health, think about happy things, do happy things daily and have fun in doing, then you will pass your time happily every day.

One day passes without happiness, you will lose one day.
One day passes with happiness, and then you gain one day.

In good spirit, sickness will cure; in a happy spirit, sickness will cure faster; in high and happy spirits; sickness will never come.

The peer, who raised the twins’ story during a House of Lords debate on the Human Fertilization and Embryology Bill, said: “I learned of this heartbreaking story from the High Court judge who dealt with the case.</div>

The case came before a judge, sitting in private, in the High Court Family Division where, according to Lord Alton, “he had to deal with the consequences of the marriage that they entered into and all the issues of their separation”.</div>

His expedition went ashore the same day and claimed the land for Isabella and Ferdinand of Spain, who sponsored his attempt to find a western ocean route to China, India, and the fabled gold and spice islands of Asia.</div>

Columbus was born in Genoa, Italy, in 1451. Little is known of his early life, but he worked as a seaman and then a maritime entrepreneur. He became obsessed with the possibility of pioneering a western sea route to Cathay (China), India, and the gold and spice islands of Asia. At the time, Europeans knew no direct sea route to southern Asia, and the route via Egypt and the Red Sea was closed to Europeans by the Ottoman Empire, as were many land routes. Contrary to popular legend, educated Europeans of Columbus' day did believe that the world was round, as argued by St. Isidore in the seventh century. However, Columbus, and most others, underestimated the world's size, calculating that East Asia must lie approximately where North America sits on the globe (they did not yet know that the Pacific Ocean existed).</div>

He was rebuffed and went to Spain, where he was also rejected at least twice by King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella. However, after the Spanish conquest of the Moorish kingdom of Granada in January 1492, the Spanish monarchs, flush with victory, agreed to support his voyage.</div>

He established a small colony there with 39 of his men. The explorer returned to Spain with gold, spices, and "Indian" captives in March 1493 and was received with the highest honors by the Spanish court.
