- Numbering system
- Algebra/Trigonometry
- Modern Cryptology

It was a Muslim who realized that light ENTERS our eyes, unlike the Greeks who thought we EMITTED rays, and so invented a camera from this discovery.
It was a Muslim who first tried to FLY in 852, even though it is the Wright Brothers who have taken the credit.
It was a Muslim by the name of Jabir ibn Hayyan who was known as the founder of modern Chemistry. He transformed alchemy into chemistry. He invented: distillation, purification, oxidation, evaporation, and filtration. He also discovered sulfuric and nitric acid.
It is a Muslim, by the name of Al-Jazari who is known as the father of robotics.
It was a Muslim who was the architect for Henry V’s castle.
It was a Muslim who invented hollow needles to suck cataracts from eyes, a technique still used today.
It was a Muslim who actually discovered inoculation, not Jenner and Pasteur to treat cowpox. The West just brought it over from Turkey
It was Muslims who contributed much to mathematics like Algebra and Trigonometry, which was imported over to Europe 300 years later to Fibonnaci and the rest.
It was Muslims who discovered that the Earth was round 500 years before Galileo did.
The list goes on and on..
Just imagine a world without Muslims.
Now I think you probably meant, JUST IMAGINE A WORLD WITHOUT TERRORISTS.
And then I would agree, the world would definitely be a better place without those pieces of filth. But to hold a whole group responsible for the actions of a few is ignorant and racist. No one would ever expect Christians or White people to be held responsible for the acts of Timothy McVeigh (Oklahoma bombing) or Andreas Brevik (Norway killing), or the gun man that shot Congresswoman Giffords in head, wounded 12 and killed 6 people, and rightly so because they had nothing to do with those incidents! Just like the rest of the 1.5 billion Muslims have nothing to do with this incident!

90% of these are incorrect. Aristotle wrote, in 300BC, that the world was round. Nearly a thousand years before Islam was created. Gallileo was not the western man credited with discovering the world was round... that was Copernicus. Also, many of the discoveries attributed to 'Islam' should actually be attributed to Middle Easterners, but way before 600AD, which is before the Prophet Muhammed and the creation of Islam. The religion of Islam was established between 650AD-700AD Chess was invented before 6th century BC by indians...... not muslims. From India, the game spread to Persia. When the Arabs conquered Persia, chess was taken up by the Muslim world and subsequently spread to Southern Europe. The oldest known archaeological fragments of the immediate precursor to modern paper date to 2nd century BC in China. Paper spread from China through the Middle East to medieval Europe in the 13th century, where the first water-powered paper mills were built. Irrigation was used in India from 9000BC ie, from The Indus Valley civilization..... so definitely not by muslims. Evaporation was a discovery, not an invention. However, it is such a basic discovery that it is pre-historic. Indian temples and Roman bridges, which show excellent engineering techniques, were build before the birth of Jesus Chirst. So architecture was not invented by muslims. The first university in the world was established by Indians at Takshashila during 700BC.... so universities were not invented by muslims. 12 thousand years ago when Ancient Egyptians discovered healing abilities of scented oils. From that point, their cosmetic industry grew to the point where it became an important part of their religion. Gods were honored by the use of cosmetics, almost everyone used oils, eyeliners, and similar products to enhance their looks. The first plastic surgery was carried out by Sushrutha, an Indian....... not a muslim Bathing was invented by muslims?? Are you kidding? Anthropologists and archaelogists have found evidence of prehistoric man living near streams and wherever areas of water existed. Artifacts dating back to 2800 B.C. in Babylon found a material resembling soap in a container , inscribed with a recipe (fats & ashes were boiled together, a known way of making soap). From records dating back to the Ancient Egyptians, they took baths regularly, and documents written on ancient papyrus show bathing was also used to treat skin diseases. The baths in the palace complex at Knossos, Crete, and the alabaster bathtubs excavated in Akrotiri, Santorini; both date from the mid-2nd millennium BC. They established public baths and showers within their gymnasium complexes for relaxation and personal hygiene. By the way, If you research to find out most of the so-called Muslims mentioned here, were Jewish converts (or of Jewish descent), who were forced to convert to Islam...
